Ms Ho Peng served 36 years as teacher, curriculum developer and education administrator with the Singapore Ministry of education. Trained as an English Language and History teacher, she has a special interest in bilingual education and values education. She was a member of the 2005 Mother Tongue Language Review, and chaired the 2010 Mother Tongue Language Review. She also chaired the English Language Curriculum and Pedagogy Review in 2006.

Upon her retirement, she assumed the role of MOE’s Advisor. In this role, she hopes to work with organisations like BTTSAL to support teachers and to make learning fun, engaging and enjoyable for students.
